Mosque Open Day - Saturday 21st March 2015
The event was attended by approximately 150 people with 22 named volunteers and some community members who helped on the day. Food donations were received from the community.
Most visitors were from Gloucestershire (GL postcodes), however a handful came from further afield namely Malvern, Bridgnorth (Shropshire), Chepstow and Ross on Wye.
The morning was split in to various different sections:
Introduction and welcome – Haroon Kadodia
Quran recitation and translation – Imam Sajid and Muhammed Martin
Introduction to Islam – Imam Hassan
The three introductory talks were followed by three exhibitions. Visitors were able to see these on a rotation system.

Islam and Education – Mufti Abdullah Patel
Introduced the Islamic education system we have in the community, from nursery, to primary school and girls’ secondary school as well as madressah system.
Islam in Britain – Zack Pandor and Asya Pandor
