Phase 1: Construction

Alhamdulillah as you are well aware the construction to the Masjid Extension has begun to take shape, with the steel structure now in place. Insha’Allah over the coming weeks, weather permitting, and the following proposed tasks should be in motion.
BASEMENT:
TANKING. PARTITION WALL. INSULATION AND FLOORING SCREED.
GROUND FLOOR:
PREPARATION FOR DRAINAGE AND FLOOR SLAB.
On behalf of the appeal committee, we wish to extend our sincere gratitude to the many individuals and families who have donated with such great zeal, since the appeal was launched in Ramadhan 2006. To date almost £390K has been raised by the residents of Gloucester with a small amount coming from outside the area. For this, we are eternally grateful and supplicate to Allah to recompense you in abundance in both worlds. (Ameen)
In order to complete, the First Phase a further £150K is required, it is in this respect we humbly extend our appeal, that in this blessed month you continue to show your support and donate generously to this auspicious and noble cause.
For those who have not yet had the opportunity to donate we supplicate that Allah (SWT) enamours his great mercy and gifts you with the means to invest in your local mosque and the future of our community.
